Day Before Surgery Checklist Important items to remember

Here are important items to remember before your surgery. Tap the box as you complete each task

Do not eat or drink anything after midnight on the evening before surgery (some medicines may be taken on the morning of surgery, check this with your doctor)

Shower with Hibiclens soap the day before and on the day of surgery

Pack loose fitting clothes for the day of surgery

Pack a tooth and hair brush

Make sure all the home preparations are done

Bring an accurate and up to date list of medicines

If required, bring hearing aids, eyeglasses, and CPAP machine

You may need to bring identification such as a drivers license and an up to date insurance card

Bring your iPhone charger and iPhone . My Knee Guide will provide important reminders around the time of surgery
