I had TKR seven years ago. It was fairly easy. I was back to work 6 weeks to the day. I worked hard at PT and recovered nicely. Now it's time for the other knee...almost 8 years later. Now I am seven years older..74. For some reason I am kind of nervous about this one. I have to make an appointment with the Ortho, but have been putting it off. I will do it today! Wish me luck. Loves all your stories.

Seems to me that it would be strange NOT to be a bit nervous when approaching another surgery. You can use what you learned from the first surgery to get yourself through the second one. Good luck with your decision!
