I was doing fine after left total knee replacement, the journey had been far from easy but now swelling, pain and stiffness has returned, not sure why. I have been walking, doing housework, looking after my horse- no riding yet, but grooming, mucking out etc and this has been fine for at least 6 weeks, obviously a bit achey at the end of the day but bearable. Has anyone else suddenly gone backward

I am 11 weeks after TKR. I was also feeling really good until about one week ago when I had to rescue a turtle and go up a small slope carrying the poor thing. It started to bother me. Yesterday I walked quite a bit and today I am in quite a bit of pain and the outside of my knee is swollen. I am not worried yet because I think that I abused my knee. I am 67 and in good shape.
