I’m 16 weeks post double TKR and 4 weeks past manipulation (MUA) on both. Have to say recovery has been harder than I expected. It’s very slow. I’m up to 131 and 124 bending, knees both feel so swollen all the time. But I’m walking better, can go up and down stairs (slowly!), sleeping better and taking pain med maybe 3-4 times a week. I do PT 3x a week for over an hour each time. Surgeon seems happy with progress and wants me to keep going PT for 6 more weeks. I get discouraged but I’m told it could be a year till I feel “normal.” Don’t give up!

I've had bilateral FKR on 17 April 2021, and bending is just 70 degrees so far (11 wks post-op). I'll be going through MUA this coming July 31 due to some scar tissues that formed according to my orthopedic surgeon. At this time, I feel very stiff on both knees and feel more pain now than a week ago especially during bending exercises.
I think you're doing well with your flexors and extensors compared to where I am. I'm only 44yrs old.
Good luck to both of us on our full journey to recovery.
