Great recovery, 10 week set-back

I underwent surgery 10 weeks ago (Sept. 2020) amidst the California fires. My knee was totally worn out and continuously painful. Surgery seems to have gone very well and recovery outstanding. I was riding an electric bike three weeks after surgery. I was never able to see the doctor for the second follow up visit because he was evacuated due to the fires, I returned to Ecuador where I retired (I am 67) and the knees kept improving with few minor set-backs. I felt overly confident and got back on my surf board and carried some weight around a couple of days ago. Today my knee is swollen and painful. I am not worried. I think that I over did it and that it will resume its improvement. My recommendation: Stay cool, do not over do it even if your knee feels great. Be patient. Wish me luck!
