Looking back on my life, I probably had misalignment issues since childhood. My major problems started with a skiing accident while in high school and then countless injuries playing sports in my twenties and thirties. By the time I was fifty, my knees were shot. Two surgeries in one year but I was never able to resume my former level of activity. So bone on bone but doctors said I was too young for knee replacement. Slowly but surely, I gave up more and more. Finally last year I cried Uncle and the doctor gave his approval. Today I am in the hospital, having had right knee Makoplasty yesterday and it wasn't too bad. Here's to a brighter future.
